    Pocket Parks
    previous next
There will be five temporary pocket parks. A pocket park is a park-like space where one end of a street is partially or fully blocked off. This alters traffic flow in the local area, reducing congestion and improving safety for all road users. These temporary changes in the area around Gore High, St Peter’s and West Gore schools are designed to make it easier and safer for school students getting to and from school. Pocket parks will be temporarily installed at these locations: • Pomona and Robertson St intersection • Kitchener and Robertson St intersection • Anzac and Broughton St intersection • Broughton St and SH1 intersection • Eccles St and SH1 intersection
